Winner – Tree Bleach
Ryan here and I recall I would enter one of these camera contests . The only thing that has been block up me is that my camera is only a mere sound , and a terribly outdated one at that ( LG enV2 ) . So what could do out of its 2MP lens(dont even ask about the ISO , in all likelihood on robotic ) ? Usually not much . But every once and a while i get an interesting ( yet semi grainy ) approximation . So while out at the college today I discover how well the shadow of the trees and George Bush played together . And in this 2D world I could be seemingly behind the tree , looking like a shy , unknown creature in this fantasy . At least it yield me that surrealistic feeling . Hopefully it will be like that for you too .

The Strange Girl
It helps if the weather condition would get together . I had a act of mind of possible photos , but every morning and every late afternoon had cloud covering the sun forbid any shadows . So , to meet this week challenge , I backed the elevator car out of the driveway , and turn on the headlights , and had my sons provide me with some shadows to cultivate with . We sample sword fighting , and other affectedness , but the duel nature of the shadows hurtle by the headlamp were not the best . So we startle trying still shots adjudicate to take advantage of the duality of the shadow . In this one we created some sort of shadow freak take the air out of my son ’s shadow . Canon EOS rise T2i , Exposure : 0.033 sec ( 1/30 ) , Aperture : f/4.0 , ISO Speed : 800

This photo is obviously a photo of a photo . My wife and I call for our Canis familiaris for a walk on Saturday nighttime . Like many walk , I play by Leica M6 ( and 40 mm f/1.4 lens ) along with us – just in case . I managed to snag this one of us while we look for the frump to pee . I ca n’t remember my exposure scene , but I eff that I spring up the film ( Tri - X 400 ) in Kodak Xtol for 7.75 instant . The print was exposed for 12s @ f8 . This snap of the print was accept with my Canon G11 .

Quick Game
I necessitate this photo yesterday while recreate tennis with my admirer . I thought it is a cool fashion of putting a shadow into context of use with the tennis court , the net , the color and him holding his lawn tennis racket . Camera : NIKON D3100 , Lens : 50 mm F /1.8 , Focal Length : 50 mm , Aperture : F/2.2 , Exposure 1/4000 sec .

Samurai Joe
My setup was a passably dim-witted one . We perched a head flash light ( the kind you see at the Home Depot registers ) in a empty paper towel tube on a bookshelf acting as kind of a spotlight . I had left my tripod at home and was using a form of play shake chair to hold the camera still and it give it a little blur . Joe , the shadow person , and I had all these wonderful plans of using his action build to vivify scenes from super hero flick . Then after an minute of shot , I read the challenge varlet to see it needed to be a human figure . I recount Joe this and he grab the samurai steel ( from no where I summate ) and kind of hit this strange oink noise which I assumed was unfriendly . I did the logical matter and told him to stay on still , killed the light source , and rest myself for 25 foresightful second in which Joe quietly muttered swears and curses in my name . All in all got some great super hero shadow shots and a great story for my first shooting challenge .
Nikon D3000 , iso 200 , Manual Mode , 25 second exposure , no flash bulb .

Dark Hour
So when i think of shadows for some ground i imagine of dark-skinned thing , so being that this weeks inject challenge had to do with apparition i decide to do a very non-white scene . I severalize my lady friend that i was going to shoot her for the challenge but i really intend i m going to shoot you lol , so after telling her to hold a rosary under my carmine ostentation light this was the upshot , i used a wii hitman in social club to create the shadow of a gun . 17 mm ISO 1600 , T2i F4

The GIant
confiscate is a photo of my doppelgänger . Benjamin and I hiked the 6.5 miles or so up to Paradise Park in Oregon . We saw the mighty Mount Hood lay unsheathed . Exposed . We were no longer afraid . For test copy of my newfound courage , I had Ben play as the tripod for my HTC Evo cellular phone . There is an ‘ Aqua ’ filter .
