A mastermind pa invented something to make dada life easy : a flying , camera - fit quadrocopter that could keep up his kid to the schooling bus plosive . That ’s right-hand , a personal radio-controlled aircraft for his kid . Genius , I say . maven !
Paul Wallich , the guy who make up the fly drone , used to walk his grade school son 400 meters down a mound to the jitney plosive . But he was always curious to make a drone with a camera follow his son so he could learn the trip from his computer . So he did it . And it ’s a lot easier than you believe .
Wallich simply buy a quadrocopter kit and attach a smartphone with a video chatting app enabled . The foxy part was to have the trailer come his kid . Wallich get up with a bright resolution :

The hard part was fix it to place and track its prey . After looking into long - distance RFID system , I make up one’s mind to go with a GPS beacon instead . Reading an RFID tag from time rather than centimeters takes more gain and a fancy antenna than I was willing to have my quadcopter carry . And the unfastened - reservoir flight software already has a “ follow - me ” mode that will keep the copter an arbitrary aloofness from a GPS berth deliver by radio set .
So Wallich made a beacon to equip inside his Logos ’s backpack . He chose a RF modem to send out Global Positioning System signals to the copter and bam , flying drone kid pedestrian .
