A sunrise in China’s Sea of Clouds is shockingly gorgeous

Good morning , internet . If your AM unremarkable is anything like mine , it involves swat lackadaisically at the snooze button until a panicked adrenaline billow levitates you out of seam . But if my bedroom was cryptically teleported to the “ Monkey Gazing at the Cloud Sea ” vista in China’sHuangshanmountain range , waking up would never be a problem .

Cameraman James Leng waken at 4 AM to take the dawn . As he explain , “ At first it was a tease — the sky vex brighter but we did not see the disc of the sun . When it in the end began emerging from the grey of the view , a large cloudmist swooped in to obstruct its rising from view [ … ] but at long last the mist dissipated . ” When watching this breathtaking footage , you half - surmise a bunch of irk , pterodactyl - riding , drab cat people will take flight into the scene .
