Malus pumila isreportedlyrejecting apps for inclusion in its App Store because they use Dropbox ’s software development kit .
PandoDaily reportsthat developers are sound off about the fact that third - company apps which use Dropbox ’s software evolution outfit to incorporate document store are being rejected by Apple .
Dropbox hastold The Vergethat “ Apple is rejecting apps that apply the Dropbox SDK because we permit users to create accounts . ” However , it go on to explain that it is “ working with Apple to come up with a solution that still provides an graceful drug user experience . ”

The rejections do , however , seem to be inline with Apple ’s existing rules , which state :
“ Apps that link to outside mechanism for purchases or subscription to be used in the app , such as a ‘ buy ’ button that move to a web situation to buy a digital book , will be rejected . ”
Whether that position is fair or not — and whether it ’s just a mechanism through which Apple can firm - branch company — is up for discussion . It ’ll be interesting to see how this job resolves itself . [ PandoDaily ]
