“My H-Town sister, thank you for gracing the RENAISSANCE TOUR," Beyoncé, 42,posted on her InstagramThursday in reference to the Sept. 23 moment the rapper joined her onstage to perform their 2020Grammy award-winning collaboration “Savage (Remix)."
“Until next time,” Beyoncé added alongside a carousel of images of herself and Megan taken at Houston’s NRG stadium which showed the pair performing in matching camouflage print looks featuring studs and glitter.
While Megan, 28, strutted across the stage in a camouflage cap, Beyoncé danced around a pole on top of a tank in a pair of thigh-high boots decorated in the army print.
The day after their show, Megan sharedher own Instagram postcelebrating the event. Alongside a video of herself posing in her stage camouflage look, Megan wrote, “BEYONCE I LOVE YOU 💙💙💙 HOUSTON I LOVE YOUUU #renaissancetour @beyonce GOODNIGHT.”
On Sept. 26, the rapperposted another carousel of snapsfrom the show captioned “Thee real Htown Hottie 🤘🏽🚀.”

She also shared a TikTok videoof the stage spectacle which included footage of her crying with happiness at being asked to perform with Beyoncé.
“Yall i have been ugly crying with my lace lifting all weekend lol i will never stop screaming about this moment!" Megan wrote in a heartfelt caption. “I have loved @beyonce MY WHOLE LIFE this means EVERYTHING TO ME!!! I love you 👑🐝 thank you thank you thank you for everything 💙💙💙.”

Meanwhile, in 2022, Houston’s Mayor Sylvester Turner announced thatMay 2 will be considered “Megan Thee Stallion Day"in the city going forward.

At a ceremony honoring the “Plan B” musician, Turner said: “Megan Thee Stallion has an extraordinary entertainment career, but we wanted to honor her for what she does offstage to lift people’s lives in underserved communities.”
“She assisted people after the 2021 winter storm, during the pandemic, and helped those struggling with homelessness,” he added. “I look forward to watching her grow as an artist and humanitarian.”
