Fact : There are two Moon hiding in this icon . But can you pick out them ? Are you sure ?
The power of synodic month Prometheus and Pandora to hide themselves ( like they are in thisnew picture from Cassini ) deep down of Saturn ’s rings owes itself to the aloofness that both moons hold from the planet — almost on the nose the same as Saturn ’s furthest ring .
Becauseall three engage more or less the same orbit , it ’s easy for the moons to occasionally disappear from opinion . Still , if you seem close enough you’re able to still catch them , as in this picture I ’ve footnote for us :
