The end is near for NASA ’s Cassini spacecraft , the intrepid probe that ’s been studying the Saturn systemfor the last 13 years . On Friday , September 15th , Cassini will absorb itself into Saturn ’s atmospheric state with its aerial pointed toward Earth , becoming part of the place it ’s called home all these years .
Even in its final hours , Cassini has managed to hand over some of the most incredible pic its taken in all its 20 years in blank space . Yesterday , the spacecraft sent backits last lookat Saturn’slargest Sun Myung Moon , Titan , as it get up to meet its portion . Besides providing a nice opinion for the dying space vehicle , Titan is actually allow Cassini with gravity assists inorder to interchange its orbit relative to Saturn . The flyby was an important part of Cassini ’s last act .

Cassini will drop the next few days preparing for its last plunge . It ’s not much of a consolation , but while the ballistic capsule will be go soon , its science will exist forever .
