“ The instant of web was a very fun challenge and one of my favorite component part of making the unretentive . Up until the pointedness where we see the finish monster , there is in reality only one VFX shot : the two - shot of the politicians with the many hands where they realise what is happening . We just site a crew of hoi polloi behind them and they all entangled their hand . Then we removed the people . After the supernatural amount of hand was established in the first shot , we just filmed a plenty of hands strangling the politician in close - ups . It worked and search bang-up and it is all in camera … it is also easier for the actors when they are in reality drown in men . ”
