How do the networks find those other people ? Sometimes the recommendations seem creepy and privacy - invasive , like when Facebook suggested apsychiatrist ’s patient friend each other , or when it founda long - lost congener , or when itrecommended two dad friend eachother after they ’d attended an anonymous confluence for parents with suicidal teens .
But the suggestion never amount with any explanation . They ’re produced by out of sight algorithmic rule , using invisible data flows .
