Banking on the whole notion of it not being the size of the gift that counts , physics bookman atBrigham Young University’sNanotechnology Research Grouphave created what could be the human race ’s tiniest Amor , made of carbon nanotube .
The impossibly small cherub was made by blasting a pattern of petite Fe seeds with a heated up accelerator which cause the nanotube to grow like a miniature forest . But since the cupid is so diminished and flimsy ( its arm is no thick than a human pilus ) it can only be appreciate through a microscope because even the smallest duck soup — like an appreciative suspiration — would put down it .
