Mandy Mooreis celebrating her little guy on his special day — especially given how tough the family’s last few weeks have been.
On Thursday, Feb. 20, the actress, 40, shared a carousel of photos onher Instagramas she celebrated her son August “Gus” on his fourth birthday. In the sweet photos, the star’s oldest can be seen blowing a party streamer, spending time with dad Taylor Goldsmith and posing with his two siblings — brother Oscar “Ozzie,” 2, and sister Louise, who joined the family in September.
“Happy 4th bday to our magic boy. It is so easy to celebrate you every day, Goosey. Your smile and laugh are insanely infectious,” Moore wrote in her caption.
“You know every name of every dinosaur and Tom Petty lyric. You are so tender and gentle with your sister (and brother most of the time- ha). You are always concerned when someone is sick or hurt and want to make them feel better. Your curiosity about the world around you keeps us present and on our toes.”

“This is Altadena. Leveled. My sweet home. I am devastated and gutted for those of us who’ve lost so much. I’m absolutely numb,” shewrote over a video showingscorched and still-burning buildings she passed while driving down the road in the northeast L.A. neighborhood.
The actress followed her initial Stories post with anotherInstagramexpressing gratitude for her family’s safety and detailing the destruction she witnessed.
“Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets),” she wrote. “Honestly, I’m in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family.”
