Blouin Artinforeports that the expo was created by Wai Chun Culture Investment and a group of experts at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam — includingvan Gogh ’s great - great-nephew Willem . The exhibit features projections of the artist ’s famed works ( many of his original paintings are too fragile to travel , Blouin Artinfo note ) , elaborated scenery , films , and audio recording of letter written by van Gogh and of import people in his life history . Re - foundation of the Yellow House , the Bedroom , and the Parisian coffee shop Le Tambourin leave visitors to stray through van Gogh ’s life story , imagining themselves in the spaces he inhabited .
Axel Rüger , director of the Van Gogh Museum , assure Blouin Artinfo that the exhibit ’s finish is not only to educate people about van Gogh ’s art , but to reveal novel perspectives on his life .
