Police are investigating the disappearance of a pregnant Texas teen who was scheduled for an induced labor but never showed up for her appointment.
The Texas Department of Public Safety issued a CLEAR Alert for Soto, who was described as being 5-feet-1-inch tall, with brown hair and eyes. She may be in a gray 2013 Kia Optima with a temporary Texas license plate, the agency reported.
According toKENS5, the teen was last seen leaving her home in Leon Valley around 2 p.m. Friday. Her family became concerned when she didn’t show up to her induction that evening.
The teen has since “passed her delivery date” and “has caused significant concern among her family members after missing an essential medical appointment,” police wrote.
“I pray to God every day, every minute, every second of the day we pray to God to bring her home, to bring her home safely because we need her home, to complete our family again,” Soto’s grandmother Rachel Soto told KENS5.
